ExpressScribe and footpedal

I have the free version but it sounds tinny and I have tried the bass fixes they mentioned on the site. Just wondering if anyone owns the Pro version to know if it's worth buying or if it is going to sound the same way. I started a new job last week and am struggling because I am leaving so many blanks from the echo of ExpressScribe. TIA ...

It really drives me nuts. I don't have carpet on the floor and my footpedal just constantly slides away from me. Have to reach out with my foot and pull it back. I tried putting a carpet square under it but that doesn't work, that slides too. Any suggestions? TY ...

I can load it into the dock, but it says there are 0 minutes of dictation. If I play it on Windows Media, it says I need a codec. I don't know what that is.
