Do laptops usually have shortcut keys to get to the internet? - I cant see one on my new Toshiba Satellite. HELP!

I just hit the windows key and "I" for internet and enter - NVMT

Should add you only need to hit enter if you have - NVMT
[ In Reply To ..]another entry starting with an I in your start menu. You could also rename your internet to a number such as "1" and hit the Window key and then the number 1 and it will open your browser automatically.

There are lots of different ways of setting up things that will launch your browser, but probably the easiest would be to just drag the icon for your browser from your start menu down into your quick launch area of the taskbar.

Do you use the shortcuts recommeded by the program or do you do your own workaround and remap keys or use Shorthand to map a different key to do the same or a combination of key commands. I tried using shorthand to overide the other key commands in Editscript and it will not let me. I like to use my ALT K and ALT J keys to move forward and back in the report rather than CTL right arrow or left arrow, but it will not let me create that in ...

Has anyone successfully modified the shortcuts in Escription? I found this thread http://forum.mtstars.com/445423.html and found my way through the process, but at the very end I cannot save the changes correctly. I get a message about saving it as editscriptshortcuts.dot, but then it just doesn't seem to save correctly. Arrgh! So close but still so far. Can anyone help? TIA :) ...

Just got a laptop and want to download DocQscribe - I thought the way to do it was to go into DocQmanage and click on DocQscribre and then download - I haven't actually tried it yet because when I click that it says "this site wants to run the add-on Speech Machines, Web Correct Version, blah blah - is that want I want to download - I thought it would say DocQscribe - maybe I should just call tech support tomorrow. Hello! Do any of you use jump keys? For example, I have asterisks (*) in all of my templates in places where I need to insert something (vitals, he/she, etc.).. I made a macro that says anytime I use a quick key (for me it was Alt+x), it would jump to the next asterisk and I could quickly type whatever needed to go in that spot.
