I have a Logitech cordless keyboard and I like to use it on my lap. Sometimes the connection gets weak and the keys become unresponsive. I have to put it back up onto the keyboard tray and type with it there for awhile, and then usually I can go back to my lap, until it decides to do it again, that is!
