Can anyone recommend a free PC cleaner to download? - Much Obliged

I don't know who to trust anymore and hoped someone here could help suggest a reputable site. Thank you, Anyone, in advance.

They seem to be a reputable site for downloads. Just click on downloads/Windows. They have a number of free downloads. I've used AVG antivirus free or the top one they have listed is Avast. Both are good. Like anything free, they try to get you to buy the pay-version, but they still work. AVG found a virus on my computer that nothing else did. It couldn't get rid of it, but I found what it was and found another free antivirus to finally get it clean. I also use Malwarebytes I downloaded from them. Spend some time on that site, there's a lot of useful stuff there. Good luck! Almost forgot, Spybot Search and Destroy is always good and available on CNET too.

I've used this product for a number of years. There is a free product as well as a product you can pay for. I've only used the free one. It cleans up stray files (internet cache, etc..) but you can also scan your registry and clean up loose ends there.

My computer is sooooo slow, and I think it is because I put ASK.com on it by accident. I removed it, but I think it has residual effects anyway.

I used this program when I had a trojan that McAfee couldnâ��t remove from the registry files but this program got in there and fixed it in minutes and it helped to speed up my computer too. See link below.

a free-trial antivirus? My current one is expiring very shortly & I cannot afford what they're asking just right now. Some anti-virus programs will advertise FREE when you google them, then will require you to pay up front. Some will let you upload them and "Save" them, but then won't open or work when you try. all you have to do is sign up, its free. It has visuals where you match the body part names to the skeleton, some powerpoint presentations, some videos and tons of quizzes. Found out the hard way just this week that download speed is now 2 mbp or greater, with fluency shutting down on uploads. When did this happen? I was treated as if it is my ISP that is below-par on speed, but had upped to a 1.5 mbp plan just for "Q" a year ago. Did my ISP just stop working well with Fluency, or did the "Q" once again cause issues without allowing its employees who are home-based to plan for them. Now my production is zilch for the week of the ISP learning ...

I'm looking to purchase a new headset for transcription. I had a Philips SHM-7500 and it lasted for 6 years. It's no longer being sold other than on E-bay from Korea ;) I have heard good things about both the Logitech h540 and the Spectra USB Transcription Headset, two totally different styles.
