just wondering what your experience has been.  They're getting really insistent about doing the 90-day mail thing, and I don't want to do that.  I told them no, and they agreed to it, but then apparently they called the doctor's office anyway to get a scrip for the 90 days and left me a phone message that I should call my doctor so he would give it to them.  This is getting ridiculous and I'm getting stressed.  Our family is on several meds, but we change meds and dosages periodically, so I don't want to get locked into something where there might be excess meds ordered (hence wasting money), plus worrrying whether they will show up in time thru the mail etc.  I'd rather just pay slightly more to do it monthly, as they're very cheap already, and handle it myself.

if you can get any other drug plan, do it. I tried to get out of transcription and I worked in their call center. I lasted 6 months, which was a miracle. people's scripts would just sit there and as a CSR, I had to take the calls and there was literally NO information. "why haven't you shipped it?" no clue. no one would help you. we were told "never promise anyone ANYTHING." I could say "it should ship today or tomorrow." they would say "so it will ship by tomorrow?" had to say "it should." unbelievably horrible. especially for the Medicare patients waiting on their bp meds, diabetes meds, etc. the first 3 months I was there I went home and cried every single night. look up their reviews. google CVS caremark. good luck to you.

this must be who Nuance picked for your prescription drug coverage. figures. they will sell a dirt cheap plan that has crappy coverage to anyone who will buy, and you know Nuance could care less if it is a good plan. I don't even work for Nuance but smart enough to know they would buy the worst insurance for the cheapest price. they won on this one.

They are a total ripoff. I am getting some medications as a cash pay patient with a discount through the manufacturer and getting something else through an on-line prescription drug company based in Washington, but the drug comes from Singapore. I don't like doing that, but this is what poverty (caused by Nuance) does to a person.

My usual pharmacy called me this week to tell me that my refill had been rejected by Caremark and I had to call them. I did and I was asked about doing the 90-day mail thing and I opted out of it. I have dealt with my current pharmacy for years with no issues and in my mind, they should not be able to tell me where I have to get my medications from.

As for your case, I would call and chew them out for calling my physician's office anyway after I had opted out. Your decision is your decision and they should not be bullying you into 90-day mail. You have legitimate reasons not to go 90-day with your meds. Sometimes mail-order pharmacies can charge more, not less, than local pharmacies. IMO, pharmacies should be equal across the board, same price for everything.

my deciding, after researching on my own and discussing the side effects with my doctor, to discontinue my statin drug because it gave me such pain in my legs.

The Caremark pharmacy actually called to find out why I hadn't refilled the Rx and even though they had no business asking, I told them. Then they started talking about other statins. I told them to stay out of my doctor-patient relationship.

as a CSR, we weren't allowed to call anyone back. had to tell them they would have to call back and sometimes hold times were over 30 mins. they just had to do that once, so really? and believe it or not, I have no reason to lie about this, the CSRs did NOT have the number for the mail order pharmacies, even to make a phone call ourselves. we had an extension so we could get them on the phone with you, but if you wanted to call them yourself, we were not given numbers to provide. excuse me but if I am the customer and I want to call the pharmacy, should this not be allowed? google CVS Caremark medicare part D sanctions. they were sanctioned while I was working there by the govt, but amazingly sanctions were lifted after 6 months or so. amazing what money will buy. at least I learned a lot about Medicare and how the prescription drug plan part of it works because I may need that information one day, and I won't be picking CVS caremark. I don't even shop there anymore. and whoever said they charge more, you are so right. had the worst pricing plan and many things at WalMart or elsewhere on the $4 list. money money money all it's about. they have it, you don't. sincerely, good luck to all of you.

This means 65% will see decrease and/or paid minimum wage. I will check for work during my schedule. Work it if possible, if not, just use the no wrk excused absence comment. I am not going to work around the clock to try and make it up. Ridiculous. If you want to, that is okay, but seems crazy to ask people to do this.  Why don't the supervisors/TSMs have a call about this. We get an email, but never anyone to tell us directly about a change. Cant we all write the guys who are on the e-mail we all got if in fact this turns out to be something bad? Flood their emails and desks? Ya know its too bad we cant get together 500+ MLS and go on strike... I would do it. If a ton of us went on strike and demanded fair wages and changes, with noone typing their reports for 48+ hours I think they'd listen. It kind of sounds like the pay will be the same even if they lower the base..... b/c if they lower the base rate but you get a tad extra ...

Sounds like they are taking out the LPH requirements? Or am I the only 1 thinking this? Sounds like they take out the requirement for LPH. Now your lines may drop due to focusing more on QA/blanks/rereading,etc.  Normally that would lower your lines and lower your pay. Now it will lower your lines BUT you will send less to Q and have less mistakes so your pay will ultimately stay the same. This is how I am taking all of this. PTO With Pay Plan Question

Does anyone know if the PTO we see as of today in teamwork is the correct remaining PTO for the rest of the year?  I was not sure if the pto we used previously in the period ending 12/26 is reflected in the current PTO in teamwork yet.   This is confusing me since we will get a 12/31 paycheck.  I know pto will not accumulate until next year but it looks like to me I did not lose any PTO even since taking a few hours ending the 26th.  any clues out there?  ...

just continue to take what I can get until there is nothing left.  If it means working here and there I guess that is what I will do.  As far as coding, MModal is advertising everywhere for coding people and I can assure you they are training coders and that work will be heading overseas as well so why bother.  They will keep the rates low and there wont be any money in that either.  I guess the only way to even try to survive in transcription is take what you can get unless ...

Can someone please explain to me this new email we all got this afternoon about the new pay compensation plan rolling out in December? Can anyone explain it a bit more in detail. Sounds like our pay will not be the same amount anymore as in no more cpl that we were used to? Sounded like to me it will be based on quality and working weekends/nights, etc. Is this something good? Email wasn't in detail too much and a little hard to read.
