Quarterly bonus - my emails are going ignored - sickened

Since my emails are going ignored, can anybody tell me when this bonus will be paid out? My paycheck is less than I made 20 years ago and I'd really like to know how to juggle bills and if I should even think about buying food without knowing when this will be paid. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, I understand all too well. I finally received an email stating that the details only would be "communicated" to us by 01/31, not that it would be paid by then.

I still have hope, but not too much. I am going to seriously start looking for something else AFTER I receive the bonus check, not before because if they get wind of it, they'll probably withhold it from me even though I earned it. These people are cold, heartless and ruthless.

Thank your lucky stars you actually got a bonus. I'll never see that day! When I have a report with only the word "now" missing my grade is 97 percent accurate. This whole FIESA is far too punitive and I don't ever envision getting a bonus. Chances are I'll be fired after 30 plus years as an MT because of their grading system.

And you are still suffering financially? This is what we are all supposed to be trying for, so how can it be that this highest achievement is not really helping?

I lost the quarterly one a while ago, now lost the production one too. My pay sucks royally, but I know if I get a new job my PTO accrual, which is now at the highest level (still pretty crappy, Nuance) goes back down, the learning curve that goes along with a new account (I am notoriously slow with any new account, so I don't get people who can do heaps of them, I really hate doing more than two), and the low pay they get to start you at means my pay will be in an even worse danger zone.

So sad that you should be at the top of your profession with such great QA scores and yet you seem to be getting punished, not rewarded.

I probably won't make bonus again. This one was a miracle. I am a nervous wreck all the time because I'm so afraid of making an error. And the email notifications are actually cruel and mean.

What, do people really think it's okay to make people scared of their own shadow?

FIESA is nasty, nasty, nasty, and it is nothing more than a tool to get money off MTs. Getting those emails is a feeling you should not be getting in your professional life, not unless you make a HUGE error that really does endanger patients, and yet for most of us it happens at least once a week, most more.

And yes, the comments are nasty. Sometimes I feel like responding in kind, but I no longer look or respond to FIESA unless I know I can get it changed.

Yes, I make mistakes, but why does that mean I get money taken off me? It's not a reward, it's a punishment to get us down to minimum wage or as close as they possibly can, and whether you like it or not, Nuance has the collusion of
QA. I could not do that job.

They apparently monitor this site to find out if anyone says anything nice about them and, of course, no one does because there is not one nice thing to say about them. They're cruel, selfish, uncaring, greedy, abusive...Well, you get the idea.

This is the first quarterly bonus I've ever received and had I not submitted and had 2 so-called errors overturned, I wouldn't have. Yes, I am still suffering financially, some pays more than others. This pay I had a couple days off due to the flu, so of course there goes the production bonus, which really hurts. I am missing $300 this pay because I had the audacity to be so sick I couldn't hold my head up. I have also lost the production bonus before for an entire quarter and had my water shut off. There are no words to describe the hate and contempt I feel for this company. Looking forward to seeing the dislikes from the higher-ups who apparently have nothing better to do than troll this board full of their minions.

I average 2000-2300 lines per day and I've never received any bonus.

I quit worrying about the quarterly bonuses a year ago. I never look at FIESA. I look at the emails, make a note and delete.

Only way I can stand to stay here.

Was between $50-100 a week! It gets me so mad that they FIESA'd that off me, that rather than try to make up the lack of pay by doing more lines, I just do the minimum hours/lines and got a second job. Stupid jerks.

Even with the "bonus" my pay has gone down tremendously from before Nuance took over, so the ultimate insult is losing even more money. It is a disgusting system.

I am reaching maximal Nuance hatred again - when I first realized what a sham they were I got another job with a great company for awhile (still working part time with Nuance) but it was clinic work and straight typing, which I found I really did not like, so go figure.

There is something to be said for having the demographics built into the system, which is something Nuance does well, also being able to refer to other reports. It is certainly a timesaver and can make accuracy better, but it does not equate to more money since they keep cutting our pay!!

Also, every time I look at another company, it seems they are in the process of getting taken over by Nuance or MModal anyway.

Maybe if the minimum wage goes up these misers will be forced to either completely offshore everything or make the system fairer. I don't think I have gone down as low as minimum wage YET, but I never missed out on the bonus before either, so I am expecting it.

I would rather have 2 or 3 jobs than give up on MT just yet. I live in a rural place where an outside job would requiring a lot of commuting and the pay scale is very low as well.

Does anyone know when this might be paid? Coming from Transcend, we were "grandfathered" in at 99% and supposed to get 10% for the first quarter. Does it include all money earned including the bonus we get if we have over 12,501 lines or just our measly base rate? I guess this is my one and only bonus here. Appreciate your help. ...

There is something that I've been thinking of that truly breaks my heart. To think that some or most or all of us just miss getting the quarterly bonus by 2/10ths of a percentage point or 1/10th or whatever. So the doctors are upset about the blanks being left in reports? Well, you get what you pay for. I'M upset about the crappy wage you pay for VR. I have heard people on here say you have to pay your SE taxes quarterly or you get penalized. I didn't do that. I took my stuff to H&R block and they did my taxes with just a regular SE status, added to my employee status for my employee job. They asked me if i had paid in anything and I told them no, but I didn't get penalized in any way. Is that normal? that we cannot send reports with more than 3 blanks through on TWO of the accounts I work on. Right now, I have one of the worst dictators on one of those accounts. She is ESL and she whispers.
