Nuance testing-can't hear audio! - Anyone else had this problem?

What do you think about objective test for Nuance? I thought that part was fairly easy, but not the transcription part. I can do great on actual transcribing in job setting, but for some reason I always do poorly on testing for jobs. Am I the only one who has trouble or are there are other people like me here. Very frustrating when trying to get job and you cannot even pass the stupid test!!!!!! ...

I've applied with Nuance & would like some info about their testing procedure. Is actual transcription required (as opposed to only multiple choice, etc.)? If so, what kind of foot pedal is needed? What is the level of difficulty, is it easy or hard to understand, ESL, etc? Help!!!! I am not able to complete the testing on Nuance mt.test site because my computer will not allow this program -- Javascript. Has anyone else had this problem? I have taken so many tests lately with probably dozens of companies. I am wondering how you feel about Nuance tests and if it is harder or easier than the other companies. I personally thought Softscript test was kind of hard, compared with Nuance. Some of the transcription audio files were a little hard with mumbling and fast talking dictators, but really not bad when compared to others. I am a "newbie." I have tested for 2 small companies and the audio was so bad I just couldn't hear enough to transcribe. Are all dictations this bad, or is it just some of them? in contacting a general transcription company for work, I was told "a one-on-one interview, 60 - 90 minute tapes, generally generates $40-$45 per tape." does this seem like a low figure?? How long does it take to transcribe 1 audio hour of dictation? When I started, I was told we should average it as 10 minutes per every hour, but 10 minutes seems low to me now.
