So has anyone encountered the MUP report? Where it is apparently your fault that you have docs you don't know how to do and in all the research of old notes and terms that you can't quite make minimum wage.
So I am doing docs I don't know how to do, and I'm not getting lines because I'm extremely slow in it. (No lines - lower pay.) I'm not supposed to send it to QA if I can avoid it. (QA - lower pay). It is probable that will be the report that gets audited. (QC - or QA, whichever - lower pay). Now, because I'm really trying to learn and do the best job I can (we have to pay you for trying - MUP report and warning).
Hm, now who should be upset about not making minimum wage? Nuance? Wait, no, I think that should be me. So I'm expected to get this down.
Okay, I completely agree with you. Stop giving me crappy doctors I don't know how to do or can't understand, and I'd be more than happy to comply. Until such time, it is what it is. I will do the best to provide a QUALITY report, and if that means looking up every single one of the 30 blanks in a note until I'm satisfied I've exhausted all resources, I will do so.
They truly are doing everything possibly to keep pay AND quality as low as possible.

[ In Reply To ..]So did you know there is something called a MUP report? I looked up everything I could last night in the Nuance employee handbook, and it referenced it but never said what it was. I looked online, and it said it had to do with nonproduction pay, and that was for a Nuance transcription manager position and you needed to keep a low MUP. Well, if you want to keep it low, give me stuff I have a fighting chance with. Has anyone else heard anything about this???

[ In Reply To ..]Yep, my TSM sends out a MUP report regularly. It lists the amount of MUP you receive (difference between LPH and minimum wage) per pay period. Lately I've seen a lot of increases on the report due to MTs being transferred to new accounts, etc. The goal is to have no MUP per pay period.

I realize there are crappy doctors, but how about moderating that with some that will balance it out? That seems fair. The ONLY person who should be upset by not making minimum wage is a well-seasoned and dedicated MT!
Did anyone happen to read the post below where she said she gave up quality and is going for volume? Is this what we're forced to do? Seems we are being hit from every angle possible. We simply cannot win for losing!

[ In Reply To ..]Well, I don't directly recall if I said you were full of negativity. Perhaps it was more of how people are attacking of other MTs where it should be more of a supportive place. If you were one that I felt was attacking, then I'm sorry you feel offended by it.
I think we are pretty much all full of negativity about Big Brother N. There is a difference between negativity and insulting, of which I would hope any response to you has certainly not been.

[ In Reply To ..]It is another way of their saying you have no true value because they are not embarrassed you don't make minimum wage but are upset with you because they have to fill in the gap! A whole $8!!!! So apparently, you need to think volume and not quality...that's what it tells me anyway.

[ In Reply To ..]Yep, got one of those last week but I was p.o.'ed more than anything because I had gotten a Trojan virus on my computer that ended up trashing my hard drive and had to take it in to get a new hard drive and some drivers the virus "ate." I kept everyone informed and told them our TWO virus scan softwares that they load on everyone's computers did not keep this virus from happening and then did NOT clean the virus out of my computer. So got the MUP report even after I told them I would spend PTO hours for time missed. It is amazing to me (and everyone else here) that the amount of knowledge we must have compared to the $$ we are paid is SO out of proportion. I have been at this for 9 years now and am so sorry I ever got into it (after being ASSURED that the pay was wonderful). I have applied to a bank a few days ago for a teller's job and hope I can get away from this soul sucking job.

I have been fortunate to have had work since the inception of TeamWork, and no longer know the procedure for filing a NJA report. Do we do as before and contact support for a ticket number, then send an email to them with a copy to our CCM, or do we have to do something in TeamWork?
