I got a bad QA report. - small town MT

The company I work for is not real strict on QA but they do check it monthly. I had usually gotten 99%, but the last time it was 97%. They sent me a letter saying I needed to watch myself or there will be penalties and that my work will be closely monitored through December. It is almost the end of January and I haven't heard anything else from them.

I have been under a lot of stress at home. My husband is saying he wants a divorce is the worst of it. I don't really want to talk to my boss about my problems at home but I do wonder if I should call and talk to her and see where I stand with my QA. I did receive some papers the other day where I had the wrong dates on some documents so I made a note to double check the dates before uploading. We did switch to a new system and I wonder if maybe I was mistaken on how to enter dates. Should I talk to her, or let it go? I am wondering how to go about this. Thanks in advance.

I would wait to see if I heard anything back from them with another fail. At my company, if you fail again, you go through full QA until they feel you are ready to be released again. Having to go back to QA stinks, but it definitely teaches you to proof better. Unfortunately, even though you are having issues right now, they are still going to require you hit their required accuracy. If you fail again and talk to them about your issues, they may be a little more willing to work with you on it.

personal problems that have affected my work from time to time. If you think your job is in jeapardy, I would speak to supervisor and just touch base to see how you are doing. No news is good news so since you haven't heard anything, hopefully you are back on track and everything is status quo. This is definitely a job that requires a clear stress-free mind when doing it and unfortunatley that is not how life is. Too bad that with the sweatshop-job requirements, we can't even get up and take a walk or just get some fresh air for a while. I hope things get better for you.

Talk to supervisor - don't wait. sm - been there done that.

I would go ahead and touch base with your supervisor. It is unfortunate you are having problems at home, but when working it has to be about work so I would just discuss where you are QA wise since the other issues will not change your score. If this was from December, more than likely have already QA'd you again and maybe you passed, otherwise you might have heard back. This sounds just like Amphion with receiving papers in the mail. Good luck. Use work as your outlet to get away from the home stuff.

I have been fortunate to have had work since the inception of TeamWork, and no longer know the procedure for filing a NJA report. Do we do as before and contact support for a ticket number, then send an email to them with a copy to our CCM, or do we have to do something in TeamWork?
