I think they WANT a mass exodus of US MTs - FloridaMT

Posted: Dec 10, 2014

Anyone else feel this way??? They come up with this majorly confusing way of "compensation" for us and have known all along a) we would not like it and b) the majority of us would not be receiving it, so their wish is coming true.  Pretty soon they will have all Indians doing their work.  I am giving it to end of January and then I am outta here too.  Can't handle the stress of this new plan.  Honestly liked the old way better, at least if I got the incentive I knew it was for 3 months.  This week-to-week crap sucks!

They want you right after the takeover - SM

So you're working for a nice little hospital and then they decide to sell you out to Nuisance. Nuisance needs you! They need you to train the VR. You are the one familiar with the doctors. They want a nice clean draft. They pay you a nice rate for straight typing. It's not so bad. Then they transfer all the work to VR. Then a few months later, poof! All your accounts are gone. Where did they go? That's when they don't need you anymore. This is what they are doing to every single MT out there, except the few and far between accounts that are only US workers. This is why you see the cycle and they are always hiring. People don't like being taken advantage of, Nuisance! But I forgot, you don't care.

I think if we qualified for incentive for 3 months, we should still get it. In a nutshell, we are being cheated out of nearly a month of incentive. Also something screwy with the lines......

noticed the - screwiness with the lines as well..

I also noticed that this week while I am pushing out the same amount of work, my line counts are terrible. Its not terrible yesterday and then bounced back today...NO my lines are seeing a significant decrease. I had 2 decent sized paragraphs of text on 1 job that somehow only equaled out to be 4 lines. Really??

Look how "excited" we are Nuance.  Transparent?  Nope, not even to somebody with a calculus degree.  Your insult to our intelligence is the final slap in the face.  Let the Indians do it.  OH WAIT, that was your intention all along.  Good luck with that, karma's about to bite you good. ...

AutoCorrect Shortcut Help? Palpable Mass & Parotid Mass
Nov 28, 2009

I have entered "pama" as my shortcut for parotid mass; but also I transcribe the phrase "palpable mass", and would logically use "pama" for that. What is a good way in general to handle phrases that would use the same shortcut? Also, specifically for these two phrases, what would you use?  I would like to be consistent so the shortcuts are easy to remember. Thanks for your input- ...
