This Chinese Computer CEO Will Restore Your Faith in Humanity
Bonuses make up a huge part of executive pay in the United States, and though Chinese incentive structures are different, the same is true there. The CEO of Lenovo (LNGVY), a major Chinese computer parts maker, has found a pretty darn nice way to spend his.
Yang Yuanqing took in a $3 million bonus after the company reported a massive 73% jump in profits in the first three months of the year, ending Lenov ...
now I'm not sure of what to do with a new part-time job I'm supposed to start next week. I'm not going to be able to stay at my desk waiting for work for 12+ hours per day. If I don't get 40 hours, I'll lose my current benefits, but I have a friend who works 20 hours and that person runs out, too. Any advice? TY. ...
File Remedy ticket.
Wait for incident number (usually fast, though)
Enter incident number on time card
Create PTO work availability "request"
Wait for "PTO" to be approved.
Now you can finally approve your time card.
Send NJA notice to schedule compliance so I won't get one of those nasty "you did not comply with your scheduled hours" emails.
Find a way to "make up" hours.
Oh, and don't forget to get the NJA paid time correct on the time card -- 0.1 hours (6 minutes). ...
I would like to know what all is involved with being an independent contractor. I have been toying with the idea a lot lately but have no clue what needs to be done or what is required of me. If anyone could give me some insight into this, I would so truly appreciate it. Thanks...
PS: I have been an MT for over 20 years so not new to the scene but always figured employee status was better. ...
Apparently anyone doing VA work has to have one. Is it strict? I am not proud of it, but I had a DUI about 20 years ago -- would that be something that would keep me from transcribing for the hospital?
Thanks. ...
I heard from a good source that Nuance and iMedX are currently involved in the details of a merge. Hang onto your hats MTs. I had a sense that something was very fishy with iMedX and their relationship with "former" Nuance suits. ...
Has anyone done the testing for MD in Touch yet? I got an email to test. I haven't done it yet and was just wondering how it was. I wonder if it has the written and transcription or just transcription, probably both. I just dread testing. I work for Nuance right now but need part time work to supplement too. Well, if anyone has any info on the testing or how they are to work for, I would appreciate it.

I hope it is okay. I just need to vent a little. I just got a new job with a very reputable company ( I prefer not to say which one) and yesterday was my first day. I knew I would be on 100% QA. I found out yesterday that I am only allowed to type 3 reports a day until I am off QA. I am so upset. I understand they have to make sure I am typing things accurately and according to format but 3 reports a day ? Then later this afternoon I heard from the big b ...
In the past week my team has gotten several e mails. Main topic covers 2 things: Poor quality (a huge number of major errors being reported to sup), and the other Quantity (people are not living up to the required new lph by the new compensation plan. E mails indicated people will be receiving phone calls about this, and poor quality will be terminated from account. Nothing said about what happens with the lph lower than compensation plan, but did say phone calls will be made.

I'm so sick of having my right hand have to bounce back and forth from trackball to home keys, and arrow keys back to home keys it is much slower than transcription. I also lose time having to constantly stop and feel for the home key position. I did a search for keyboards and found two that have the trackball or touch pad in the middle lower portion of the keyboard so you can do what used to be mouse work with your thumbs and it looks like your fingers don't have to leave ...
Seems like for a while now the keys take a harder touch, sometimes they don't connect and I have to hit a key twice.
it's a microsoft wireless comfort keyboard, model 1027. I have taken canned air and blown dust and cat hair out of it, wondering if using alcohol swabs gently in each key mechanism might help?
Space bar works well, seems to be only specific keys that stick or don't connect well. Backspace is one of the sticky ones.
Any suggestions apprec ...
really miss that keyboard, I can't remember its name but they quit making it about 5-6 years ago. Does ayone know of a comparable one? Where you barely touch the keys and there is no click?

Has anyone any suggestions for a super good keyboard with a light touch response? I hate the keyboard that came with my work equipment, bought another, but the keys clatter when I type and it's distracting. Before I get a new one, I'd like to get some suggestions.
Thanks in advance my co-workers! ...
I hope this post quells some tempers and fears. Obviously there are a lot of audits going on.
I got the call and my CCM said "just wanted to let you know that you are going great. You were audited and are right where you need to be with quality and are above production level". She said thank you very much and that she appreciated my hard work.
I asked her if she ever frequented this board, she said yes. I told her about the firing posts and she said that peo ...
Let me see if I got this right.
You send me a few voice files. You send me a few templates. You send NO other instructions whatsoever. I wing it, based on my years of experience and common sense. The fact that I left out a blurb the speaker "always" wants in there (but never dictated) causes me to fail your so-called test?
A blessing in disguise I think. You should add "needs to be a mind reader" in your job post. ...
