No one ever told me - old and burned out

but I suspect with the last transfer, I was. When I spoke to the new manager, she said they had been having trouble with quality and that was why they chose me. At that point I was just really old and burned out and tired of learning a new batch of lousy dictators. The main account was in ND, all typing and picked to death by QC. I just couldn't take it any more.

Those to whom it has not yet happened do not see a plot here but when you've been doing something for over 40 years and have always been told how good you are and then suddenly are switched, audited immediately, fail and are put on 100% QA, you have to believe it was not an accident. I'm lucky to have worked in this field when I did and glad I'm able to retire now. I am so, so sorry for all of you who have to put up with this treatment.

I keep thinking about a thread from a week or so ago about minimum wage and LPH. I remember I figured out in my state, 150 LPH is minimum wage up to 180 LPH. Is is really worth it to bust my *** to get 200 LPH, if it only means 20 LPH more? Does this make sense to anyone? Is my logic or my calculations flawed? It seems I would need to do considerably more than 200 to even make it worth my while to even try. What's the point? ...

Does anyone else ever feel this way? Lately, I have felt so bored and burned out. I know part of it is because I lost a great account and on boring old rehab and ER reports. Plus, I am in the process of getting out of this altogether and going back to school so my mind is really not here anymore. I just need to figure out how to make myself sit here and pump out the lines to make $$$ until then. What do the rest of you do when you feel this way? ...

Any ideas on how to get out of this, besides calling and quitting? I haven't got any negative feedback in a while, but I get the generic emails you all get about things being done wrong and you need to fix it... But they are nice and put "you are the best!!!" on the bottom o the email. So condescending. I am just so over this mess. ...

Are there NO decent places out there to work? Just when I see something that looks like what I am seeking and want to apply, all I see is negative posts. I realize that everyone has their opinion and just because someone does not like it does not mean I would not etc. BUT, there are always more than one negative opinion, and all cases that I chose to ignore warnings, I walked right into the nightmare, just like they said I would.
