does anyone know if this dqm lookup reports is working adequately. It seems like a whole lot of trouble to find any. I know this was discussed down below about where the heck is dq main menu and search. I tried looking up by dictator and its a waste of time as there are not any old reports there. Thank you to any help out there.

did you find them in the exact manner that was in the email or are you going by dictator? it seems like a mess. can you let me know how you are finding them? thanks!

F9 in documanage the closest i see to any thing is client profile search. do id need to log out and go into the screen where we view the backlog. I was in there once and thought i did not see any job search to click on.

When you log-in like you would for the backlog, click on "search." That will bring up the options they talked about in the e-mail. When I first did this with my dep log-in, it said "account disabled, contact system administrator". I called the 1-888 number, they reset it in about a minute, and then I was able to view the old reports.

I was able to view quite a few reports, which was very helpful for a very difficult dictator. You can verify medications, PMH, etc. The only reports I found though were ones dictated within the last month.

Finding patient reports and the usefullness: - exasperated

You find patient reports by going to the DQM main page that shows you the backlog. Log into DQM with your ID# with DEP at the end (no space inbetween), your password and your company #. I had to call to find out how to do this as the instructions are for ****. As for usefullness. So far it has helped in 1 out of 5 reports. Gee........wow....... and takes up an amazing amount of time. Hope this helps

Thank you very much. I was ready to call them tomorrow also or email my qa leader about this. I just as much thought this would be time consuming and not find too many reports. It would have made sense if we could have stayed in the same screen somehow without having to go into the dep user.

Well, I dont have too much trouble with looking up the reports. From my transcription/edit screen you can hit F5 which brings up DocQManage (i continue typing while it loads) and then click the long button at the top labeled repository. It comes up in a separate window pretty quick... if there is one. Unfortunately, be careful ladies...

QA may not have gone over them. I got major errors from using those reports.

We have a few doctors who do this. there is a standard report that has and as headings. Some physicians dictate "findings" and proceed to dictatethe procedure. So in my infinite wisdom, I checked the repository. Sure enough they were there and in the sample, it was typed under the GROSS FINDINGS INDICATIONS heading.

Then i got audited. QA dinged me a major becuase it should go under procedures. So be careful even with those.

The repository is totally different from the access that we are supposed to have been given.

You have to get to the DQM screen like when you look up backlogs, your ADP number plus DEP. From there you go into a search and can search all reports for the physician you have, or all reports for the patient you have.

This is not the same as the repository which has all of the errors.

You were correct. The repository WAS the location of all of the samples, until now. The reports that went into the repository were mostly for difficult dictators, or specific procedures that were difficult, etc. This new feature (which is really very helpful, by the way) will let you see ALL reports either by a specific dictator or on a specific patient. If it was dictated and transcribed, you will be able to see it.

I love doing op reports even with the mandatory standards as I can insert my expansions and am very familiar with them (when I get my primary). Now it's all ASR and I have to use those standards. Anyone out there who works remotely for a hospital.. can you tell me how your QA is done. Wondering if most are like my employer. Our QA is done sporadically.. maybe twice a year. We get a stack of reports in the mail that may be 6 months to a year old. Our editors follow none of the standards our department has set up, and usually just whatever they feel is wrong, is wrong. If a report is really bad, cant even find the patient- when it is uploaded and we have a note to QA, is that report sent to be charted and the doctors, or does QA fix it, whatever, and THEN is sent? Do we do anything different so it does NOT get sent to the client first? Thanks you guys!! ...

I was speaking with a friend of mine and he just got the last bonus and then was told he was not supposed to get the bonus because the hospital he works on doesn't get bonuses so not to expect another one and then 2 weeks ago they put him on 100% QA 5 reports a day for 5 days and then extended it for another 5 days because they said he had 98% though on the bottom of his timecard is showing 99% and the feedback has been 99%. In the past 3 days I have transcribed reports from as far back as January 2013. Ridiculous is all I can say. 3 reports today were from June of 2013. No wonder the backlog is twice what it normally is and they have to offer that incentive. We shouldn't get yelled at for something totally out of our control. ...

until I realized that NONE of those count as far as my pay is concerned...not a one of those 100% reports matter not one iota....they are not "post-audit" reports..... Then I look in FIESA again and realize there is ONE post-audit report and one alone....and IT has a 98.9% score! Numerous times over the last month, I have noticed reports that I did NOT pend to QC for any issues are being reviewed and going towards my 10%. I have had at least half a dozen already. I believe that these are old reports used for training, but I don't think they are training new MTs on the account. I believe they are training VR. Someone mentioned below that it doesn't make sense to pay someone to do old reports that have already been done, and I agree with that also. Plus, think about the fact that MDI had never, ever trained like this before, even after receiving email after email asking where all our work was going and why we had no work. ...

Today I went back to look at a report that I did yesterday because I had the same doctor dictating on the same patient and wanted to check something. The report had been changed in ways like operating room to Operating Room, we are not supposed to capitalize per client profile, and numbers to #'s which I have never done.
