What good is the report look up when - Kiki

the reports are all different, even within work types, even a few mistakes I have caught (could even be my own, who knows)....so I asked and apparently the reports just go directly there....no one checks them for accuracy or anything. And then THESE are the reports we are supposed to use as reference? Wow. I'm also talking about report format--you will see the PE different ways within the same work type - stacked, paragraph, etc....I was hoping it would be a quicker way to get a glance at a report to see how they want certain things rather than sit there and read thru the CP. But no, can't do that. In my opinion it is ridiculous to even HAVE this report look up unless they only put reports in there that have been checked and made sure there are no errors of ANY kind. Once again, a potentially great idea rendered useless, stupid and time-wasting by this company.

[ In Reply To ..]they had a standard, you filled it in in their order..Im a big proponent of every report withing a facility should look the same,,so that the doc can immediatly find what he or she wants..common sense, faster for us,,but whatever not my problem, my reports look the same thats the best I can do
I, personally, hate standards unless every doctor - dictates in the correct order
[ In Reply To ..]Too much copying and pasting and moving things around. I would much rather be able to transcribe in the order dictated. I do, however, try to use the same heading titles in all my reports, which should be consistent enough to be able to find things.

I just QAd an ILP report that I was only supposed to fill in the blanks, but I saw a major error near the blank, so I did a 100% review. I found 32 errors, 17 of them were critical with missing phrases, words, and just plain making up what they thought they heard.
