Tired of getting talking down to - just plain tired

anyone else tired of being talking down to by their QC, so sick of it, they act like we are babies and they are the only ones with knowledge. So we make a mistake, their mistake in this company if making the point value so high on silly things, but there again that is one way of getting rid of us and giving more to off-shoring. Just tired of it all but looking every chance I get. And I guess the higher ups who get copies of all the QC emails probably are eating it up when they "instruct" us so thoroughly. No matter how good you are, they can still let you go, been here a while and I have seen some excellent Mgrs, QA supers and QC let go, so we all need to be on toes, yes even the perfect non-MT/MME.
Ours told us to make folders for all the emails - Not going to happen
[ In Reply To ..]At least in our group the nitpicky emails have started; this doc wants meds in a paragraph not list format even though the CP says it or use the date of service dictated and not what pulls in from ADT. On and on and on. Make folders? For 30 accounts? I am paid on production and searching through folders of emails is not productive. Either put it on the CP where I see it with one glance or forget it.
Talked down to - Been There
[ In Reply To ..]I remember when I first started with Medquist, I had trouble with demographics and got some supervisor or whatever they are call me and read me the riot act about it. She literally said, "can't you read?" Come to find out, it wasn't me, but the software had to be re-downloaded. Do you think she said anything about that? Oh h--- no. Treated me like dirt. I knew right then and there I was in trouble with that bunch and it did nothing but get worse. Horrible snippy QA corrections, e-mails that bordered on, "you should be shot," and so on. Thank gawd, I got out. Again, they are the devil! And what really got to me, was how these people would treat you. Unbelievable!
Stand up to them - Do not take it
[ In Reply To ..]You might remind her/him that they have no right to speak to you that way, but they must keep correspondence professional or you will have to report it as an Ethics violation. I have asked mine who she thinks she is, who she thinks she is speaking to, and reminded her she does not own me, I simply choose to have a business relationship with THEM and she needs to back off or I can end this as easily as they can. Please do not let them get under your skin. They are all TEMPORARY and will soon feel the pinch of the reorganization themselves. Fight back - threaten to file a grievance, ethics complaint, write to the CEO and that makes them shake in their shoes. THEY cannot do this work so really you have more power than you might think. They need us more than we do them. Have a GREAT night and shine them on!

I am really surprised that there is no one talking about DIT. I know that I am not the only one that got the shaft from them. The owners last excuse for not paying me for work completed was that he just found out that he was losing his eyesight!. Again, I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Note, these are non-MT jobs. I have been applying to jobs that pay per "audio talking minute." These are all basically customer service jobs which might include a little tech help and also might include some upselling. Anyone have a take on this? I have been transcribing for 11 years and everytime I get a fasting talking dictator with an accent, it slows me down so much that it affects my production. This company got a huge account that we as MTs cleaned up their late reports at a rate of 9 cpl (1,000 to 2,000 or more) as they put them in our system. Not a bad line rate, right? Dictation was bad, sound quality sucked, and on and on. Now that they are dictating into our system daily, the "contract has been renegotiated" and if we still want to type for the account we are getting 7.5 cpl. What a damned ripoff!!
