Placement change - PLEZ

If they offer you a "placement change" (which sounds a little fishy since all of the regions have no work as far as I can tell)...do you have to accept the change if it means a schedule change (i.e. shift)???? Why should we have to change our shifts????? Geez....

if you dont, they probably will fire you - who knows

If it were me though, I would say you hired me XXX years ago with this schedule and I am not able to change it. I need you to find me work on my schedule and if that means you move someone else, fine, but I cannot.

Like I said, that is probabaly a very fast ticket to the unemployment line, but it is what it is.

You can't file for unemployment if you have declined a job offer.

I was fired in October for not meeting production requirements. This after working for the company for 12 years and working in many different regions under multiple supervisors. I applied for UI and was awarded benefits. During the application process I wrote that I had sporadic work flow, difficult to understand dictators and problems with the speech recognition program as just a few of the reasons I could not meet production. They sent my supervisor a questionnaire to fill out and she never responded. I filed in FL if that makes any difference.

My accounts have more than enough work and they are asking part-timers to work extra hours on a daily basis. Holiday has made no difference in work load on my accounts on the shifts I work, which is not 9-5 M-F, but split shift nights with one weekend day.

Some days they have more than enough work, and in fact 2 days they even called me on my home phone to ask to start early because they were behind.

Ok, how exactly are we supposed to respond to being told about a placement change. In other words, is it unreasonable to feel that being told you are being moved to a different BOB is not some sort of way of them saying that you are not performing to their standards in your current BOB? Just curious.

I get these types of sentences constantly and always question my comma placement. "We will see her back in the office following her injection and if she does not improve, we would consider surgical intervention at that time." My question is whether there should be a comma either before or after "and." I know a comma needs to separate 2 independent clauses but the introductory phrase in the second clause throws me off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :) ...

I am transcribing a report for a PICC line placement and at the end the doctor says that he places what s/l anestasol Steri-Strips. a-nest-a-sal. Anestasol Steri-Strips were applied. He could mean anestasol and Steri-Strips but he doesn't say that (which of course does not mean the "and" is not needed!!). Anyone know what this should be? Thanks! ...
