I must admit I've been reading this board for years, never posted until now, partly due to the probably unsubstantiated paranoia going around awhile back that those who posted here got the ax first, silly I suppose, but I used to care about keeping this job and didn't want to take any chances. Now, finally, I understand that I am fighting a losing battle, and I know longer give ******. I've been reading about you guys with NJA for days on end, etc., etc., and I guess I've been lucky, until about a month ago that is, as I had the same account for years, steady work, lots of overtime, and still was able to earn enough money to justify staying at this job rather than looking elsewhere, having to commute, etc. I have never complained, always produced quality work, worked my shifts, been a "perfect" employee, and guess what, in the end that does not matter, even if some of you still believe that it does. When my old accounts "disappeared" I was given a new set of accounts, seemed horrible at first, then I accepted it, have been trying really hard to do my best, then last week those accounts that I was just learning and feeling comfortable with started drying up, so new accounts came in, you know the routine, and yes, at first I thought that was better than NJA, until the accounts came up with client profiles REQUIRING anything with a blank/QA marker to go to QA. Well to me that is kind of like MQ saying "hahaha see if you can work around this stumbling block." I am good at my job, but, not good enough to say, transcribe a foreign doctor I have never heard before mumbling on his cell phone driving through a tunnel dictating a catheterization report and not have any questions. So to those who still think they are "safe", I did too, until recently. Good luck.
