Posted: Sep 18, 2010
FYI: If there are any emails you need to save for reference before the perge, go into that email, hit forward, and send to your personal email.

I made a folder and put a few in there. I hope they will be all right, otherwise I will forward them on.
Not sure what system ya-all are using but - nonMQMT

could you hightlight the first one and hold the shift key down and highlight the last one and then hit forward to forward them all at one time?
no, unfortunately - sm

many have attachements. each attachment must be opened separately and either printed or saved to disk
Not gonna worry about it. - They will in the end be screwing themselves.

If they hadn't told us we couldn't delete emails in the first place they wouldn't need to do a purge. I've been with this company for almost 6 years. I always deleted messages I dind't need then about a year or 2 ago I was toldwe should never do that. So I stopped. I thought it was stupid, but I did it. Now look at this mess. We're gonna lose important emails because they need to purge. Stupid. They'll just have to resend all the things we need. You know all those pesky account specific things we need for all the accounts we have? Because its way too much to even go through now. I mean even the folders I created will be affected. They need a better email system. Or better systems people.
I was never told we couldn't delete emails. - Nobody knows

I always delete the crap I don't need anymore.
Just goes to show you how inconsistent this company is.
However, I do want to keep all my tickets for NJA and a few other emails. It would be nice if MQ Central didn't move at a snail's pace. It would also be nice if there was an easier way to save them instead of having to open them and do them one at a time.
which of these sentences in this phrase "head forward and shoulders forward posture" are correct grammatically.......(use of hyphens)
head-forward and shoulders-forward posture
or
head-forward, shoulders-forward posture
Anybody got a clue ?
Thnx,

in case I get fired later if I don't keep meeting their "metrics," which, face it, I won't. I want to have the email to show unemployment if they fire me for poor performance. However, how are you guys saving these emails? World Client doesn't allow you to forward it to another email. Is there another way to save these in a format that will be acceptable? ...
I got an email from HR today that my husband was 'accidentally' added back on my insurance. Note that he has not been on my insurance for almost a year. How this happened I have no idea.
That means my paycheck tomorrow will have about $400 deducted from it just for that error. The email basically said "Ooops, sorry about our mistake you will be reimbursed with *next* paycheck."
That means a 2-week wait for their mistake. I am not desperate for the money (thank ...
Is anyone getting work?? I am told there is plenty of work, but keep getting "no jobs available". If you are getting work, when do you get it?? I have flexed every way I know and still get no work. If you are getting work, are you milking the system 24 hours a day to get it?? If someone would please tell me how they are making production requirements I would sure appreicate it, because I haven't made it for months now. ...
I'm curious about something - maybe it's because when I started doing MT, it was straight typing. I've only been doing ASR 2.5 years.
Has anyone noticed if they're more accurate when doing regular typing than they are with ASR? I have. I rarely make mistakes with straight typing but sure can have a lot of typos, duplicate words or whatever pop up on the ASR.
Plus, as an added benefit with regular MT, whenever the dictator pauses, I close my eyes for ...
I'm trying to figure out what this doctor means. He's dictating the vitals signs and says "pulse DT and regular." He's clearly saying "DT" (not "DP" or "PT"), but I can't reference it anywhere. Any help? Thanks :)

I got an email about open enrollment for PT flex, PT limited and and FT limited.
Well, what about FT regular? Why does everything have to be so long and drawn out and complicated with this company. I just want the darn information! ...
I've been standing up at my counter, working... I think I'll like it once my feet get used to it. I was wondering if anyone's tried it and was able to keep it going. I know it's supposed to be easier on the body than sitting 8-10 hours a day, but it does take some getting used to! ...
Just switched to Express Scribe and trying to figure out a setting. I have quite a few dictators where I just listen to the dictation and change a few words here and there.
However, when I hit the foot pedal to fast forward through the report it will only fast forward for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal speed. Anyone know how to change the setting where it would continue to move in fast forward speed until I take my foot off the pedal.
Any help is appreciated! ...
being paid hourly for VR but also am now doing regular transcription intermingled randomly so hourly pay is becoming "pay by the minute" because 1 report will be VR for a coupla minutes, then the next is regular.
anyone else experiencing this? if so, are you making any substantial money, can it be done?
many thanks,
gitarMT ...
not sure if its all correct in this format or if there should be a period after the word area and then "on forward flexion he remains absolutely flat." Tia. ...
Down below someone said it only comes as a separate check if it is over $100.
Mine have always been in the 120 to 150 range and I have gotten a separate check. But
for the past 2 months, nothing. CCM has no idea what is up. Just wondering if anyone's
bonus if over $100 came, as usual, as a separate check. TIA ...
Sorry, my math really sucks and I can't seem to find a site that will 'convert' decimals to regular numbers. If a patient's lab test reads as 23.0 and the doctor dictates it as 23,000 are these both correct ways of putting it? Also had absolute segment coung of 17.48 that was dictated as 17, 480 and bands of 0.23 that were dictated as 230. If these are just other ways of expressing the same number and are all correct, great- I just want to be sure that is the case. I ...
M-Modal has a current job opening listing for PART TIME MTs (there is a separate listing for FT ones too). WTH is up with that? I mean, I myself was planning on giving my notice soon enough to this crappy company and actually was glad I was laid off instead of quitting...at least now I am eligible for unemployment until I find another job....but really, WTH? It's not an old listing, has TODAY's date on it. What is the reasoning? ...
Just shoot me now. I had some great accounts that are outside my area coming in. Unfortunately, now my regular accounts are showing up and my count is taking its usual dive. Bad audio, crummy output. And the compliance coach thinks it is me that has the problem???
Performance coach was performance managing me for "failing" audits, i.e. getting 99.65%. Now she is our compliance coach, so I am getting informed that my line count is teetering just below the requirement. I let her know that ...
I am sure these are closely guarded as they would let MTs actually communicate with each other..and that would be a no no.. MTs might actually band together ...
