She/they are never ever. EVER. going to tell you what you want to hear on these calls. Ever. They tell us things we already know - what our collective concerns are via the employee survey, that they're oh-so-excited about this and that - things that will pad THEIR paychecks, not ours - and spout off a bunch of useless "statistics" that not one of us cares about - pretty much how successful THEY are as a company, not us as the MTs. Pass on some of that wealth! Again, if you're reading this, Management, please remember you would not have a job were it not for us MTs.
Two things hit me hard on this call - one being the words "managed out" when referring to the firings/layoffs. That was just weird and tacky. Call it like it is, sister. So were these people really fired because of performance issues and because of lack of work on their accts? Maybe the performance thing, I don't know, but lack of work?? Oh don't even get me started - you people are still hiring new people every day! The second was the statistics about average line counts going up to a whopping - what was it - 185 lines per hour? If you're making 4 pennies per line that equals a big 7.40 per hour. Is that really what you call progress? I am speechless. If I wasn't getting paid for those calls, I would not attend.
