Everybody passing QA with 99% no problem? - just wondering. Seems kind of impossible

consistently pass 99% with what they deduct for minimum's? I would really like feedback on this.
Two audits since new process with 99.5 and 99.8. - MQMT

Actually, I have seen no difference in my usual audit score range since they started using the new process for figuring scores and have yet to fail one.
I really think it has to do with the person auditing though.
I started getting audited like no other and were - dinging me for insignificant

and inconsequential stuff. I started E-mailing QTL and questioning every one of them, and she finally quit. I am audited about every 2 weeks now, and the last one was only 2 reports which were above 99%. I never got put on 100% QA. Some of my reports were below 99%. I think it is all so subjective and depends on the agenda of the QTL whether or not you pass. I was really getting worried, and I have been doing this literally FOREVER and never once not passed a Quality audit. So long answer is yes, I think the QA methods have changed, and it is harder to pass an audit -- unless they want you to. Go ahead flamers, call me paranoid.
I agree. You need to listen to every audited report. I had audit - make a major blunder on SM

one of my jobs. Also, why should it be assumed auditor has a better ear then me. I have had words blanked, that I could hear, but the auditor wasnt sure so it got blanked. Audit/qs is just too subjective to have any meat behind it.
I believe also it is VERY subjective according to the auditor - and I am shocked at what we get dinged for!

never ever worried about audits..always above 98% and now this past year above the 99%, so I never paid attention to what would be considered 'offenses." In my 20 years I have never had a quality issue, not once. Now all of a sudden I fail two audits miserably. One was a report I deserved to be dinged on and I was rightfully called on, but the others!! 0.25 point for ever subjective minor offense on a report longer than a Hamlet soliloquey and I was dinged 23 times! For things that have absolutely no bearing on context, content or veracity of the report.
While I do not think the auditor is out to "get" me, I do believe it is far too subjective to be held to such a stringent 99%
Not to mention the 99% standard. Nobody works with 99% accuracy.
I have gotten audited twice in the past week! They have pulled 6 reports on me. I thought that they only do 3 and do it about twice a month. I think something is going on there. What is the passing score. I know it is 98. something. Thanks! ...
I just did my final exam and did not pass. I got a 98% on the written and 82% on the practical. What happens if you do not pass (after alotted tries)? Can I still work in a clinic or doctor doing transcription or is all my training a big waste?? ...
when you are told you didnt pass the audiit test, are you booted out after so many of those or what? I am not even sure if sending a question lowers your score??? anyone know? ...
Understanding that most employers don't recognize the CCA for the paper it's printed on, do you feel that by putting in a moderate amount of extra studying and completing an AHIMA-approved coding course one could sit for and pass the CCS - assuming they ever open the thing back up? ...
I interviewed with Accentus after passing their testing. The interview seemed to go just fine. The recruiter said I will need to have a second interview with the account manager, and b/c it would be a new account, this could take 1-2 weeks. It's closing in on a week, and I'm wondering if they are really going to call me back? Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks ...
Has anyone ever NOT passed the check? My credit is not so hot and I had a DUI about 30 years ago (dumb), so I am a bit nervous that this might screw up my employment. In the old days, people just hired you or didn't hire you. Sigh. ...
