Could I possibly get another email about this - ridiculous A account?
Posted: Dec 11, 2012
This wants this, this wants that, I will add to CP, but until then read emails, the thousands and thousands of emails that have been sent...
COME ON!!!
And... - The Client is Unhappy!

ya think? Dr. NoseWhistle wants the name of every doctor he mentions in the report added to cc list. Don't do it for any of the other 500 doctors on the account. Dr. GumChewer wants a copy of every report sent to his satellite clinic in BumFEgypt, except on Tuesdays, then send it to his regular office in the Middle of Nowhere. But this isn't on the CP yet. and the CLIENT IS UNHAPPY
Please research names of referring physicians. - Stop spelling them wrong. sm

The client is not happy and "sounds like a broken record" but please will you MTs stop making so many mistakes. Please get Dr. Bob Burnes and Dr. Rob Burns correct, as one is a family practice physician and the other is an internist. It is very easy to discern the two. Please pay attention. I can't stress it enough to go over these reports a few times before sending.
Clear as mud!
Don't forget you'll be audited on these reports but the reports are from last month and you'll be dinged on all the new rules.
Can you comprehend? No? Two points off then.
heehee
OMG, this is too funny - and so true

Its not in the CP, but this account does not want sincerely typed in the report, but this other account does, except for letters, no wait, yes, they do want it in letters, but no other reports even if they say it, but then remember on this other account, even if it is not said, remember to put it.
If wrong WT entered and even if it is a letter, dont change the - WT to letter;
[ In Reply To ..]
however, you must still put in the letter headers. If you don't know what these are, please review page 43 of the single-spaced CP. Even though there are no page numbers.
Why couldn't this account go to India and leave - the others alone?

Obviously they have not worked here long enough to become CRAZY enough to siphon through 74 emails about whether "Sincerely" needs to be added or not.
True. Put sincerely there until you hear from us - tomorrow. (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
Tomorrow comes: Here is a list of dictators that would like Sincerely. Here is a list of dictators that would like Warmest Regards. Here is a list not to do anything at all. Only change the worktype if he says to. If he forgets to say to change it, then change it anyway if it is any of these worktypes but not cardiology.
1. Breast augmentations larger than C cup (please see CP for specifics on cup sizes).
2. EKG. (exception; please see previous note).
3. Penile implants.
4. Testicular ultrasound.
5. If unsure, leave a line with 10 dashes and underneath type SIGNED BY just like this "Signed By."
Breast augmentation larger than C cup, see CP - snort* best laugh of the day

Seriously, that is the best laugh I have had for a long time. *wipes eyes*
Add all of the above together and then - here is what the actual CP

If I can't find the spelling in the database or - dnr

there is any lack of surety in my mind, they get a blank. Even if the CP says phonetic spelling is okay.
Sometime back there was a threat that, if you sent a cc to the wrong physician, you have violated HIPPA and will be immediately terminated.
And then... there's the "you did not cc Dr. X a requested by dictator". Ummmm.... This doctor has such a horrid accent and either I didn't hear it or I a note in the QA box noting that I did not know who the cc request was for, so did you check the document for this??
Hey, you forget something mentioned in an email, too bad - so sad. Just say, Im sorry, thought I read SM
[ In Reply To ..]
all the emails. Sorry if one slipped by me. I cant wait til all this stuff gets put in the CP. And then what are they going to do? Basically, this tells them if they want you ro remember something put in the CP. No guarantees with info just in emails.
Please refer to the WT Specific Instructions section of the client profile - and where are these you might ask?
[ In Reply To ..]
well they are very cleverly hidden under client profile in DEP, but if you do find them, you will find that they do not apply to your dictator. However, you are required to check for each and every report. This goes for dictator specific as well.
Thousands of Emails - prissy

I just ignore the emails at this point. There is no way anyone could ever remember all that and trying to read those client profiles is a joke. I only read the PE format and ROS format, and I'm done.
I do that also, dont care about anything but - PE and ROS format.

Only letters get patient names spelled, I use the dangerous abb. list for AHDI, and dont care about the rest.
I was told years ago we were getting a standardized profile, and when that didnt happen and they opened up the cesspool again, I created my own profile.
The doctor (ESL) is giving a list of the patient's medications. He says one that sounds like "urine" and then goes on to state Omeprazole, Zyprexa, aspirin, and one that sounds like "liver maintain."
Patient has a history of psychosis, seizure disorder, schizophrenia, and COPD.

So yeah a lot of Debbie Downers on here for sure. How bout you try this on. Remember what you have and not what you don't. I am working 3 jobs , 16 hours total a day to try and not lose my house. I am having no Christmas because I can't afford it and if you have a job, a roof over your head and a few presents under a tree how bout you be thankful for that and quit whining about what you don't have. If you have a job be thankful. If you don' ...
Not sure of the spelling for either. Also, not sure if these are 2 separate medications or if they should be separated by a comma. Any help is appreciated. Also, if you are familiar, please indicate whether they are brand or generic meds.

I am doing some research on medical coding. I have looked at Andrews Coding School and Career Step. Both seem to be close but Career Step states it takes much less time to finish, which I am guessing is to get you in to their school and not reality but that is only a guess. The cost is also a huge difference. Has anyone here gone through either school and would you recomend one over the other? Any advice is appreciated. ...
I'm looking into doing online training to be a medical transcriptionist. I was wondering how much money you make once you get out of school, is it worth it? How much an hour? Also, is it easy to find a job? I really would like to work from home because I have a 5 month old daughter. Thanks! ...
Yesterday, I applied to this company. I get a reply (albeit in my junk file) saying that they want to interview me. They tell me things that I need to have (ie yahoo IM, yahoo mail etc) which I do not want to have again because I was hacked into. Today also I tried to look at the job description again to check it.(it's on another board) and it is gone. I have a bad feeling about this so if anyone else wants to apply BE CAREFUL!! ...
Management says they are considering 4 MTSOs, and that we will probably be offered jobs with whichever they choose. Mediscribes is one of the four, so we have lots of questions about Mediscribes:
Has anyone else here been hired by Mediscribes because their hospital outsourced to them? Did they keep you on the same account?
Did they bring you on at one rate of pay, then cut your pay later (like Nuance does)? If yes, how much later and to what rate of pay?
And for any Mediscribe ...
I've been thinking of capitalizing on the need for data migration in the healthcare industry by starting my own healthcare data migration business. I've only just begun to research and gather information about this type of business.
I don't know too much about IT (but know people who do) and I don't know too much about data migration at this point, but there seems to be an opportunity here somewhere for experienced MTs like me (and you), at least a temporary one, so I& ...
I am 3/4 through the Andrew's coding course and it is HARD!!! Sometimes I think I wish I went into nursing. A 2-year degree and you can start (in my area at least) at 30 an hour.
With coding, at my local hospital, they start at 26 an hour for inpatient coders, BUT you need experience! I feel it may take me a few years to get up to the pay rate of 26/hour, and in between I will have to go back to school to learn ICD-10 and pass even more tests.
AND, by the time I am ...
Have been approached about possibly working for them. I have read in the archives about them being up for sale, MTs leaving, line discrepancies, and them no longer paying for headers, footers, etc. Does anyone have any current information? TIA ...
I am sure these are closely guarded as they would let MTs actually communicate with each other..and that would be a no no.. MTs might actually band together ...
something like "correction to previous" email regarding line rate increase. At first I thought,
okay, that virtually nil line raise WAS a mistake and now they will be giving us a more
reasonable raise. Nope, it was the same exact amount. They said correction but nothing was
changed.........unless I'm missing something, but I stared at that email for while....... ...
From my region's SVP of OPs. Apparently my CCM is no longer my CCM. I guess what I've read here is correct and they get rid of the good ones because my CCM rocked! She was not just the best I'd had at MQ but one of the top managers I've ever had anywhere in any job.
Now I just wanna cry. ...
wanting everyone to work a weekend day. I personally can only work M-F and was hired on as such. I know some people probably already have mandated weekend shifts, but I have another job I work weekends. I wonder what would happend if I refuse to work weekends? Maybe I'd get fired and then be able to collect unemployment and do the TAA for retraining. ...
We have not had email for a week now. I called support and they said that they are having problems. What if there is something important we need to know, will they call us? Hmmmfff.
Anyone else have this problem. ...
