Any MTs receive letter from coporate bothering - to explain TAA --

TAA (Trade Adjustment Act) -- given the steep drop in pay for some MTs/MMEs, I would think MQ corporate would be glad to notify us that many MTs can apply for consideration, even if not approved.

Thanks to all MTs that provided this information.

MQ should have been the FIRST to inform us, and information should have been just as official as that last nonsense letter from corporate about what a wonderful job we are all doing (they meant lining their pockets while many MTs are receiving lower and lower pay).

Management is not going to notify MTs of anything that isn't going to help put money in their pockets for their high salaries. As long as they can sucker(with their lies and not telling the whole truth) in more unknowing persons to work for them at cheap wages they're happy. At some point, though, they will have lost all of the quality MTs who helped them get where they are today and maybe, but I wouldn't bet on it, they will realize that quality and not quantity is what counts in the long run. Ethics as far as treating their employees went bye-bye some time ago and when that happens it just keeps easier for management to forget MTs are people and not just a number on a piece of paper.

I'm not telling any of you anything that you already haven't heard or seen before, but it helps to vent so thanks for letting me indulge.

At the end of an ASR training on the phone, an MT asked the two teachers point blank, "If you were me, an MT, what would you be doing right now? Going back to school to learn another profession or try and stick it while our income keeps dropping at or below minimum wage?"

One of the teachers said, "MQ JUST CANNOT FIND GOOD MT'S ANYMORE." Hello? I THINK THEY ALL QUIT. What does that make newbies look like? The other teacher stated, "MT's have to learn to accept change as this field is changing and if they do not like it? Well. . ." Lastly, the other teacher stated, get more training and become an MME. NO THANKS!

I knew right then and there that this company is all for the bigwigs and corporate office staff. If it was not for us MT's, NOBODY WOULD HAVE A JOB. The funny thing is, MQ knows this and yet we are treated horribly.

A few weeks ago, for no reason that I can find, I cannot get the first letter of a sentence to be in all caps automatically, (unless I do it manually.) The same for the letter " I " by itself when typed. It was always automatic and now all of a sudden it is doing this and I cannot figure out how to change it back. Has anybody else had this problem, if so, how did you fix it? Thanks, appreciate the help ...

I would be very happy today if someone would smack the doctor I am typing in the back of the head and say SLOW DOWN DUMMY!! TSM takes metric reports as gospel but there is no way they can be accurate with the line count and actual hours on server. I am sitting here waiting for work to trickle in.
