Not that I'm not glad it was an increase rather than a pay cut, but I think for a lot of us this "raise" is going to just even us out for when he start getting docked pay April 1. Funny that this "raise" is starting April 1, isn't it?

Ok... Back in Sept, my montly bonus was 120 for the month.

In Dec, Jan, and Feb, my monthly bonus was about 50 per month.

MedQuist lowered the payout so that I only received 50.00 and then gave me a raise which will (if I do roughly same lines as last 2 months) give me about 50.00 a month.

That makes 12.50 per week.

Now, the kicker is, I had a submission rate in Jan and Feb between 15 and 17%, so... that will take away my 12.50 and my bonus.

These are some mathematicians that the Q hires.

Why not just say... NO MORE BONUSES IDIOTS!

same scenario as you, about 130 back in September. Then in January it had dropped to 56 even though I had roughly the same production.

I knew this had to be some kind of BS in disquise.

Remember all the talk here on this board where a lot of us were saying that the bonuses have dropped way down even though doing the same amount of work? I think they had this plan many months ago....so then they could base the "raise" on your piddly Jan/Feb bonuses, BC no one got great bonuses those 2 months. SHYSTERS!!!! That is what they are.

The reason they won't just say "no more bonuses" is that they are sure more would flee this place before they are ready. This way, there will be a lot (almost myself included) who think, "wow, that's nice, finally getting a raise." Wait until everyone does the math and sees how little it is.

I mean, a bonus IS extra, I understand that. They don't really have to do it at all. They could just give yearly raise considerations (like most companies). But what stinks is their way of going about it....making people think they are getting more money, when actually it is LESS. I can't write what I really think of all this here or I'll surely be banned for excessive obscenities!!!!

Urine welkenton? Not sure of spelling, since I'm not sure it's really a word. They could also be saying welkington. That's what the dictation sounds like and I've listened to it several times on numerous days. Can't find a reference to it anywhere and I've tried many variations. Just had a doctor dictate "potassium 40 mg," (should have been mEq) and then further down, "Levemir 40 mg" (should have been units). If I had not left blanks for them, that would have been 6 points off. It also compelled me to use my allotment of blanks for that report! But they, of course, do not get penalized for their mistakes. On the other hand, our pay is docked. There is a double standard here that needs to be changed. ...

Could someone explain to me, IN DETAIL, the bonus pay above a 99%.
