They are trying to narrow us down. It's the boiling frog method ... turning up the heat just a little at a time so we don't realize we're boiling to death.
Pretty soon they will only be left with either the cream of the crop, or the biggest gluttons of punishment.
no email here either BUT there is always someone here - warning us. I dont know if its

someone in management or what. But I would take it to heart. I am bracing myself for an email this week.
Wish it had been about layoffs and not an increased accuracy requirement. Oh well!

are the off shore people held to this standard? Me thinks NOT!!!
"Nobody is perfect, not even a perfect fool." I have heard this many times before.
When they go to 100%, no one will be working. HA
Maybe that's the goal ... - anon

Then they can say to the client, "American workers just couldn't meet the quality standards, but our global employees didn't seem to have that problem".
But what they WON'T say is, that the global employees didn't have any standards to meet.
The goal, I think - old and burned out

is to have an excuse to put more MTs on 100% QA and then cut their salaries. I think after a while you will see 99.9%.
What? - anon

Sometimes it's a struggle for 99.6% and now, supposedly, to 99.7%. Great. Looks like another round of MT/ME employees leaving.
Here's a thought - anon

Sorry, but I don't believe anything I read on this board until I see it with my own eyes.
There was someone who came around a couple of months ago with a "mass layoff" warning that had everyone here literally shaking in their shoes but of course it never happened. It's like throwing a firecracker into a crowd of people and laughing when everyone hits the ground.
Until I see the email, "I ain't buyin' it".
yup, same email - must be just our region?

No notice either.

How Is .02 CPL Cost-effective? (sm) Apr 08, 2014I don't think many with experience would accept .02 CPL. I would imaging this forces MTSOs to train newbies. I'm sure they have to pay QA far more than .04 CPL to correct and go over the work. Even if they did pay QA only .04 CPL to do this, they are paying at least .06 CPL total. By the time the new editor is sufficiently trained to go off 100% QA they have had more than enough time to realize that they will never make a living doing this kind of work, the lies ...

Update On Resignation Effective Immediately Molleycat Jul 08, 2014Hi everyone! Last month, I posted on here that I resigned effective immediately. I had had enough of the crappy ESL doctors, the audits, the poor VR, etc., etc. I just want everyone to know there is hope. I found out today that I will be getting my husband's SS with a lump sum at the end of this month and monthly payments starting in August. The payments may be more than what I originally thought. I have also put out about 40 resumes and have only gotten one bite. that one bite is a ...
