If you want to be constantly emailed begging for extra help at that current time then this is for you. That gets kind of tiresome after a while. I have no idea how they are staffing, but several people can be on one shift and you are never sure what is going on. It's like any other MTSO, they want the work done and will tell you anything to get people on there to do it.
One person can be scheduled for a shift, but then there might be others working on that shift as backup and the original person isn't told about it. Then you wonder where the work is when only a few minutes ago there were several jobs available but now there are none.
Manager is also sometimes very difficult to get hold of after hours in emergency or for problems. Seems to be somewhat of an airhead; it's okay for her to make mistakes and forget things, but not the MT who makes a mistake.
You may be the only one scheduled on a shift and if the jobs pile up, you may or may not get any help, but you are expected to do 1-hour TAT.
The work itself isn't that bad, so if you can put up with assorted BS go ahead and apply. At least pay is always on time.
