VR editing Breitner - BrokeinID

Is anyone making any mone with VR editing at Breitner? I do not seem to be able to make much and was wondering if I am just too slow or is it something else. I am taking off almost 100 minutes a day in 4-5 hours but my paycheck is so low I'm beginning to wonder if it is all worth it.

If you're on the eScription platform try going through the free tutorials available on their website to see if you're maximizing your productivity potential. If you're on another platform ask your supervisor for training assistance. Good luck!

I do not use the eScription platform. I use WebChartMD. Do not get me wrong, I absolutely love working for Breitner. They are a great company, QA is the best and their managers are also the best. I cannot work full time. If I could I guess I would have it made but alas, not for me. Thanks for all the replies.

but you are right. They are the greatest people to work for. I have stayed just because of that. Have never worked for anyone else so great but need more money and have thought about trying for straight transcription.

I agree with the above poster about using the EditScript training videos to learn how best to maximize your usage and/or asking for additional help from a trainer. I wish you good luck!!!

then yes the editing is horrible as your expanders don't work in certain places or in certain circumstances and it is fasater to type in what you want than try editing. I used this platform at IMedX as well and just could never get up where I needed to be. I hear Ediscription (sp) is very good but I have never used it.

Anyone else who is applying or already applied at Breitner? Anyone work there or previously worked there? I see they use MT Test for their testing. I did the application but have not started the actual testing yet. Gosh it would be so nice to just have to transcribe one sound file! Wishful thinking! That's not gonna happen I'm sure. Has anyone here attempted the Breitner testing? This company certainly searched high and low to find the absolute hardest reports for their testing. I am familiar with the terminology on both reports as I have done genetic reports and am familiar with these words. I accepted an offer of employment from Breitner. The same day, I received an email request for a phone interview from Amphion. I replied to Amphion, stating I had accepted the other job. They just emailed me back with a stated pay rate that is 1 and 2 cpl (typing and VR) more than the other job. Can anyone give me ideas on how each company is to work for?
