Silent Type MTs - page requirements - me

Again, it seems everyone made the page requirements except me. Would the MTs who work there be willing to acknowledge with at least a yes or no that you are getting enough work to meet the page requirements and whether or not you do voice rec or straight typing. This information sure would help me a lot. TIA.

No, I am not meeting page requirements and I do straight transcription.

I have another question. Have any ST MTs filed for partial UE? I've read here about MTs at other companies filing and receiving unemployment for low/no work. We were hired as full-time employees.

told me this was a tactic used a lot. You're probably not the only one who was told that.

This is one of many tactics. In my opinion, it seems that the owner tells the MTs what she thinks they want to hear. When I worked there, the best thing for me was to keep my head down and avoid contact with her, if at all possible, because you never knew what kind of mood she was in on any given day.

Can anyone give me info on Silent Type, either on the board or by e-mail? Would like to know about steady work flow, general idea about line rates, if they provide equipment, straight typing versus VR, weekends required, and do they still require you to train on site at your own expense and if so when is that reimbursed? I have been with Silent Type for a year now. I enjoy the fact we work M-F schedule and no weekends. I also enjoy the fact that we have good QA. I also enjoy the fact we get vacation and bonuses. I also enjoy the fact we are offered health insurance and 401-K. Girls don't forget these perks when you are complaining about the work being light. Is anyone getting work?? I am told there is plenty of work, but keep getting "no jobs available". If you are getting work, when do you get it?? I have flexed every way I know and still get no work. If you are getting work, are you milking the system 24 hours a day to get it??
