work often runs out and you are asked to flex. They do not care about hours but your minimum lines per week. sometimes they offer time and a half if backed up on work... but not lately so must have over hired.

when I worked for them, pay was great, but once I started making good money, they told me to slow down. LOL!! They do not like when people go too fast...then they have to actually pay you! I would save yourself the trouble and frustration.

Maybe they told you to slow down because you were making too many mistakes? - sm

They really were a bad experience for me. Their minimum line count of 1,500 every day was nor realistic on a daily basis. They only had work half the time; i.e., 20 hours a week and then wanted you to flex which was impossible that many hours a week. I learned 5 accounts in 5 weeks, 1 of which had 60+ pages of specs. They were on me every minute, even if I was 10 minutes late signing on because of MANY, MANY E-mails and messages on my phone that I had to address, but that was expected on my time. They called me to work on my time if they had a single job. If there were 5 jobs, then 3 supervisors would go nuts calling, IM'ing, and E-mailing for coverage whether it was your time to work or not. They are nuts. They also cherrypick to the hilt. Don't get involved in it. Their cherry picking only goes to the top pets. Don't waste your time on this company.

there is no way to cherrypick unless you are the one who keeps signing off and back on when you get bad doctors in your lineup hoping to dump the cruddy doctors off on someone else.

The supervisors and leam leads get all the good work because they can see what docs are on the system. They can assign work of bad docs, as many as 8 or so in a row with many missing job numbers in between. If that isn't cherry picking I don't know what is. They have their "pets" who get the good work.

Hi there fellow TT MTs:)  Do any of you ever have trouble with QA at TT.  Lately, I have been afraid to send anything in for correction, particularly 1 person, who dissects my reports down to crossing my Ts and dotting my Is.   I know she is probably just doing her job well, and I know being in QA is a hard job, but this is getting depressing. I started a new thread because I noticed your question about TransTech waaaay down at the bottom of the page and with no responses yet, so here goes... In my personal experience, nothing has changed from the older posts.  Even today, I have 4 accounts and I'm currently waiting for work to come into my queue.  If you can get in with TransTech as a favorite, you can make BIG money doing 98% OP notes (about 30,000 lines per pay period).  But, if you're just a regular, ...

Usually there are lots of posts here about TT.  Just wondering what is going on now.  I was hired and supposed to start work there, but could not work with satellite.  For some reason, the EditScript would not come up.  So I got rid of satellite and had Verizon Wireless installed.  So far this is working pretty good.  Much better than satellite -- knock on wood.  Hopefully I can start working again.  ...
