is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. Look at the address bar of this website above. It just says http:// before the web address. Whenever it is secure (like when you are logging into your account to check out at amazon.com), it will say https:// before the web address. Make sense?

FTP is File Transfer Protocol. Here is a website explaining about it in more detail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol

I took a test the other day to apply for an MT job and the doctor loud and clear gave the patient's name. The dictation was a consult. When the doctor mentioned the name of the hospital, I heard a beep, but when then the patient's name was stated I heard it. I hope those are fake dictations that we test on.
