HAS ANYONE APPLIED FOR JOB AT TTD, INC (THE TRANSCRIPTION DOCTORS)?? - FRUSTRATED

I've been watching the board, waiting on someone to post their experience with TTD, Inc. They've posted several jobs on this site. Surely, someone applied and got hired. I got hired, no testing, no training, got sent a few jobs, did them, submitted them, and haven't heard anything back in 2 days. I sent an e-mail asking if there was more work available, and NOTHING! How unprofessional, right? Someone please tell me what your experience was with them.

This company has an ad running constantly because they can't keep people. Pay is very low. They want ICs but they want you to work a schedule. There have been issues with pay in the past too. I don't work there, never have so I can't give you the inside scoop.

I worked for them for 1 day. I was told the account was strictly radiology. Tested for them, signed the contract, downloaded everything, printed off tons of paperwork, etc. Started work and there was 1 report that needed editing. Nothing was EVER said about editing. It was an ESL physician, and if the words weren't directly in front of me I never would have known what he was saying. I called the TL to ask where all the work was, and she told me, "Oh, well there are only about 8-10 radiology reports a day." Really? Why didn't you clarify this before I wasted my time (about 2 weeks) and money dished out for ink, paper, etc. Never again!

accepted, printed off all their paperwork, signed everything, sent it back and never heard a word back from them!! I emailed them and never got a respons.

So the work is always up and down, and not very plentiful to begin with. Plus you have to "train" and are only allowed 10 reports a day until they decide you are off QA. You may make a whole dollar a day. Not worth your time or frustration, trust me.

Several years ago I worked for them for about a week with very poor training, dismissive attitude with questions, and I hated it. Maybe they've changed since then.

I applied for a Behavioral Transcription position with Q.E.D transcription. I took all of the exams, including the Clinic and Behavioral transcription exams. I received aa 83.50 on the clinical exam and a 93.00 on the behavioral exam. However, I received an e-mail from Q.E.D stating that I did not pass the exams. . . . so we'll see. I don't particularly like that they give you a choice of set shifts, even as an IC, which is what I want, because I have to juggle my work with another job as a travel agent. However, I HAVE to have at least 1000 lines a day to keep me going between commissions. I usually work in the evenings and early in the morning and I have no problem with TAT. I don't need to be babysat and held to a set schedule, since I have been doing this for 20 ...

To the poster who posted below looking for information on TTD. They don't have their own accounts. They work for Superior Global and maybe others. Superior pays them to find ICs. They probably pay them 4 cpl and then TTD pays you a cruddy 3 cpl to edit VR reports. They don't offer direct deposit because Superior is paying them and then they pay you, which is why you have to wait a month for your check. I recently graduated form CS and I have been looking for a job for the past 2 weeks. TTD offered me a job without doing any testing and I thought that was odd. My recommendation is to have any MT who feels her time is valuable to Stay very far away from this company. I am going to be very careful in how I word this. Company did not pay me correctly. Our line counts did not match. Experienced problems with line count accuracy early in employment. Kept accurate records of line counts (their counts and my counts). I started working for them over 6 weeks ago and have NOT gotten paid YET. I know there has been discussion that that happens but we're going on almost 2 months now and nothing.
