Diskriter info PLEASE - webmt

I'm going to apply with this company and would like to know how those of you who have been there a while like the company. Total honesty please. How often do you run out? Do they communicate well?

I hate having to switch companies, but the work load at Webmedx has me extremely worried. I just want to work. I am a faithful employee and look forward to each anniversary with one company, long term, but I can't do this anymore.

everything has gone pretty good. Always have tons of work. Have only ran out a couple of times and when they do run out, it's not for days and days but only for a day here and a day there. Nothing major. They utilize M*modal. The SR on my account is not too bad but definitely needs improvement. The account I am on has great dictators. I would say about 85-90% are clear as a bell.

You are expected to work when you are scheduled which is a good thing for me. Helps keep me focused and on track. They are strict about the minimum SR/raw typing line count. QA personnel friendly. My trainer went over every single thing with a fine tooth comb which was great. Pretty decent place to work in my opinion. I would definitely give them a try.

I agree with poster below. I'm on straight typing account. Plenty of work. OT. But not an easy learn. Schedule is strict. But you will definitely not complain for lack of work. Really good MT-friendly company from my experience.

Some accounts have work where you type in the accounts platform but others do not. Like every other employer out there, depends on what account you have. Be prepared to work your schedule and don't ask to flex too much.

Need info on Freedom Type, Keystrokes or Diskriter. I live in Okla and worked for a local service until recently. They downsized and cut the transcription dept. I now have a job with Medquist but can't get any work through them. Like most, I need a paycheck, not just a job title. I'm looking for a good company to work for who is honest and provides a work load that is not constantly running out. As a long time MT at DR, I find the undoing of Diskriter to be most upsetting. Anyone else have any thoughts? People have left in great numbers and continue to leave. Stay away from Diskriter who has an ad on the Job Seeker's Board. I worked for them and it was THE worst experience of my life. It is a very big hospital they are referring to with lots and lots of facilities associated with it and lots and lots of account specifics. You need to have a certified degree as a rocket scientist to work for them. They chastise you and make you feel worthless.
