Has anyone heard of the above company? I did a search in archives, etc., but did not find anything. Would appreciate hearing any info regarding this company. Thank you.

Yes I did, but I have been looking for a job doing just hem/onc and/or rad onc for such a long time that I am getting desperate. It is looking as though every American company will only hire people who want to do acute care with oncology done by them also. Thanks for your post.

AK Valley Transcription in PA - they do only hem/onc - don't know if they need people - but worth a try.

I also used to only want to type oncology and had a hard time finding just that. I finally decided to give acute care a try and I loved it.

Landmark pays 7 cpl and 3 cpl though--and for hemo/onco? - Not loving it.

They paid 9 cpl straight typing for the Onc account I was on. - sm

I started two years ago and quit 3 months ago. Rates may have changed, but there was no VR on that account when I quit.

To everyone who replied to my post. Thanks for the info; however, I also worked a few years back for Landmark on a hem/onc account that paid 9 cpl, but I left for what I thought was a better job...so much for that. Now every time I try to get re-hired, I never hear anything back. Also have tried AK Valley but never hear back from them either. I really wouldn't mind doing acute care but can't get hired when they see I have not done it. To me, hem/onc is just as difficult as acute care. I am positive I could do it, but I have never done op reports and that does not bode well with the powers that be! Thanks everyone.

Oncology - me

Can I learn oncology and/or acute care quickly, if I've mostly done radiology for 20 years? I hate my job. And what would I say in my resume to like I'm capable of doing acute care?

Anyone who has done some, can be taught for any other speciality, you just need guidance, time, and patience. None of these qualities are considered in this field any longer. Hard to say about learning "quickly" as in today's standards you are supposed to be a machine. 40 years ago--you would have been a more-than perfect candidate.

Has anyone that sent a resume into Premier Solutions received any feedback? I saw their same ad on another MT related board the same day it appeared on MTStars, and it was pulled within hours of posting on that particular board, which included their full address. I worked about 3-4 weeks for SGS. The people were really really nice. The pay was on time. The problem lies with too many Q.A. people and all having different opinions and no one agreeing on the same thing. They nick-picked me to pieces. I had a job come up today and it was a STAT. Does anyone currently work for RI Unlimited that can tell me what equipment specs they require now and if they are currently hiring part time? I could not find it on their website.
