C-phones go with certain accounts, so whichever companies have those accounts will be using C-phones.

They're out there, you just have to find them.

Many accounts are over staffed. A couple of late paychecks, bad insurance, hard to make quota. My list goes on, you should check archives over the past year or so. Those that left are happy they did. Only you can make that decision, if you need a job take it and continue looking would be my best advice.

This board is Indian-owned, and they constantly allow attacks on KS (and I believe promote them) because KS refuses to offshore its work. It is All American. Also, the squid would love to get a hold of KS's accounts so they can send it all overseas. Keystrokes is a very good company to work for. I love my job and would never give it up. The people are nice to work for. We have a lot of laughs in spite of the daily pressure to meet turn around time. They pay above average for experience, too.

Not hardly! Go down the page. It has nothing to do with being an Indian-owned company or Medquist here. It has to do with being treated like crap, sick of watching the cherry picking going on, absolutely NO communication, AND rules changing when it suits the COMPANY. Horrible company. I wish I wouyld had listened to all of the warnings! It would have saved me a lot of heartache.

I'm an AMERICAN MT. I sincerely believe that Keystrokes keeps touting that they only hire American MTs is because that's the ONLY thing they have going for them.

What a horrible, horrible experience I had with them. Overstaffed accounts, poor or no communication, late paychecks, and I could go on and on; in fact, I already have -- my other posts are further down the page.

Well, I have to say I love Keystrokes. They are very friendly. QA team I have is wonderful. Coordinator is wonderful. I love the company! Way to go Keystrokes!!!

Oh my! That's the best joke yet! They throw you in with no formal training, no communication, no "QA" your first few weeks, nothing. You don't even know there is QA!! The leads doost of the QA. That's why the QA manager left shortly after taking the position. Heck, someone made up a new QA policy without even consulting the QA manager! Ha Ha! Yep, great company it is.

Wow, I wish I was management. I am a medical transcriptionist and love it here at Keystrokes. I have a wonderful QA team and coordinator. I wish people that don't like it at Keystrokes would quit and give someone else a chance to have a good job!

I love my job. This is a first for me in a long time in this field. I watch the posts here, and I just wonder why the venom from everyone. I am on my 3rd year here, and I have not encountered anything like what these people say, except the 1 time paychecks were late, but the explanation was sincere and believable. The people against KS show too much bitterness of heart to be believable. They just like hate burning in their souls.

They were late twice this time last year. It has always been the bank's fault, excuse me, once when the office forgot a holiday was on a Monday (come on already). You will figure it out one of these day's.

When I was there, I was told by a coworker who had been there for a few years that "this happens every year." Every time the same excuse was always given: "We just changed banks."

KS late paychecks - Cindy

It seems like the only real complaint is some late paychecks. KS probably has poor cash flow. That's not unheard of in this economy. I think that if it is otherwise a good job save the slow paying that it might be a good idea to bank a few paychecks as a cushion for such times. The company owners aren't as fat and happy as you think. The spread between bill rates and pay rates is small. It's not the same business it was 20 years ago.

Anyone know how to adjust the backspace control for how much it rewinds after you lift the pedal? Right now, it goes back about a sentence at a time. I have been asked to cover an account that uses either a C-phone or DAC transcription station. Can you speed up and slow down the voice on these systems? I used to use a C-phones years ago and I remember that pressing the key 8 mulitple times would slow down the dictation and pressing the key 6 multiple times would speed up the dication. Do the newer DAC or C-phones still have this option? ...

I worked for Nuance for a very short period of time. Long enough to get the MUP email... which I took screenshots of and saved to my computer.
