Anyone working at Acusis? - Always looking

TIA for any information on this company!

I used to work there. It's not as big a company - as Nuance or M*Modal, but - S/M

but it's very similar to both of them. It has the same things going on with offshoring, accounts "disappearing", low pay, unpaid overtime, nit-picky QA people, getting written up for "errors" that weren't there on the original report you typed, but which "mysteriously" appear later on. There's very little straight typing left there, it's mostly VR, and their minimum line requirements for VR editing are much higher than would be realistically obtainable.

All the same negative points as the Big Guy companies, just in a smaller package.

I got stuck with one of the most nitpicky QA's I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It was awful. The communication is pretty poor too. Good luck if you decide to go with it. I'm sure some people love it, I wasn't one of them.

I have seen some posts where people want to know about Acusis. I will tell you what I know and about my recent experience with them. The Human Resources person, Susanna Sovek,is located in Pennsylvania. My supervisor was located in California. The IT folks are in India and the CMT's are all over the place. Does anyone know what qualifies an employee to receive benefits at Acusis? I realize one needs to be a full-time employee, but I'm wondering what this entails. Do you have to produce so many lines or make so much money per pay period? Are they decent benes? Would appreciate any info. ...
