it seems to me that it is someone who came in late on the MT game and still thinks he can make a buck off our backs - seriously unprofessional and self-serving - i hope you get a chance to talk to him and report back - maybe reading about himself will encourage him to change....nah, doubt it but always hopeful~

Says to name your price - did a "test" dictation which really wasn't that bad. Sent the dictation fast enough but I had to inquire as to whether he had reviewed the dictation when I sent it back the same day. He waited until after Thanx and said he was going in another direction. I think I have seen his name before on this board a few years back. This dictator was not that bad if you have done ESL for awhile, so his staff must not be that experienced with the same. Just my experience.

not only did he decide to go in another direction, seems as though he removed the website as well (strange), so Mr. Witkowski (whose name you probably stole from Monsters, Inc., lol, the little one-eyed guy) you should remove your ads as well. Geez - who are these people?!
If you click on his post... - me

I also tested for him, got all of the dictation on the job he said his MTs could only get 3 words. He replied with he had someone who did better??? I think he's hustling something and using us to help him--I say keep your distance.

Are You Familiar With Dec 15, 2011a company by the name of dtsok (Digital Transcription in Oklahoma). If so, what do you think of the platform they use? It is called SpeechMotion (supposed to be similar to Chartnet). I just started working there and now I wonder how an MT can produce enough lines to make it worth her while. It seems rather involved and lots of steps to go through to complete a report. Am I wrong? Should I stick with it before I am really familiar with this platform or should I ...

Who Are Familiar With Bayscribe Mar 06, 2013Those of you who are familiar with Bayscribe, did you find:
The spell check dictionary is void of many common words? It also does not detect uncapped words at the beginning of sentences or spacing issues.
The word expander locks up for periods of time so cannot create new expansions.
It has horrible quirks that cause expansions not to work correctly (they just don't expand) , capital letters show up in the middle of sentences and do not cap where they are supposed to, and extra ...
