NO WORK!!! That is the norm these days. I am sitting here doing this because I have no work at 5 a.m. Been doing this job for over 40 years, and now with retirement coming up, no work, no money, no retiring.
If you are able to, leave now and start over. I am too old at 62 to start over, but I got a second job driving bus around a small town making a whole lot more than MT will ever pay these day, but can only work part time.
Must be something else that you can do besides this job which is circling the drain faster and faster every day.
Can anyone here provide info on this company? I'm wondering about pay rates, if they're well organized, do they leave you alone to work, etc.
Thanks. ...
I have read the archives but was looking for additional info concerning schedules, platform, pay, do they leave you alone to work, is there plenty of work?
Thanks in advance! ...

Confused on whether to go with MedScribe or not. They seem like really nice people, but would be a pay cut (but they pay for spaces and now not getting paid for spaces). It also seems like the work would be consistent. My biggest fears: Having to work Saturdays, but most of all, if I can meet their 1300 line a day requirement. Right now, my line requirement with another co. is 800 lines a day and it seems that is all I am able to get, but I think that is mainly because of the accounts an ...

Any current or recent MTs who work for this company in NJ have any info to share? Are all their accounts now voice rec? Plenty of work or still sporadic? Have they added tech support for nights and weekends? Thanks. ...
Is there enough work during 3rd shift? Is the platform easy to use and easy to get your lines in with? How is the health insurance? I saw the premiums for the different levels but didn't see what type of coverage this is (deductible, copays, etc.). I'm a bit worried that your benefits hinge on getting your required lines in each pay period. I can see where this would be a problem if there was a shortage of work (the situation at my current job). Any thoughts would be appreci ...
