If you love mandatory OT and working a Sat or Sun in your schedule and every holiday, then go for Amphion.

I don't know how Medical Ink is. Never heard of that one.

I was just hired with them (haven't started my training yet)and I'm very excited. I have a silly question. I'm going through the computer spec sheet, and they say I need a headset with a microphone. What do we use the microphone for? I'm going to be working on the Triton platform. Any advice? I've heard many good things about them also. :)

How in the world is a person to have and keep a second job around that?

They were pulling that crap years ago and you'd get the email same day, usually early afternoon, and you had the second job scheduled a couple hours after the first. No time to call off the 2nd job, let alone risk losing it for calling off because you had mandatory OT for the first job.

All these MTSOs are so stupid when it comes to scheduling and running a business.

If they'd pay people better, treat people with respect, and learn how to schedule or staff accounts, maybe things like mandatory OT and constant hiring wouldn't happen so much.

Medical Ink has very little training. You basically have to learn on your own with little help. There is also tons of paperwork and many things needed to work IC.

I work for Amphion and I'm generally happy with it. That said, I've seen on here before that Amphion is part of Nuance. Then in one of my emails recently I saw the name Nuance mentioned (in reference to workload). Is that true? Does anyone care to share that if you are hired at optiscript part time will they let you change to full time easily? I know they are a small company and do not over hire so I do not know how easily this could be done. I'm getting frustrated about finding a part-time job. I've done so many interviews, I'm blue in the face. They all want to start at such a low cpl that I just can't do it. I'm about ready to try to get a non-MT part-time and see how that goes. I've heard about Avon and that it can be done from home on-line now.
