Medical Coding Schools - How To Choose - Linda Andrews, Director, Andrews Medical Coding Sc

Whatever school you choose, make sure your medical coding training includes both inpatient and outpatient coding. Make sure that most coding graduates of the school pass (not just are eligible to take) both AHIMA's CCS exam (most schools do not provide enough training for graduates to be able to pass the CCS exam) and AAPC's CPC exam (It's not unusual for most schools to teach to that exam). Andrews School specializes in training students for outpatient and inpatient coding, and our graduates have a very high pass-rate on both of those credential exams.
