It would have been rude not to let her know she was changing her mind about taking the job. So she did the right thing in letting her know. How are we going to get these companies to change their ways if we do not tell them what they are doing wrong? You may think it is rude, but you get what you give. If you want someone to be nice, you be nice to them. If you are rude to someone, expect to get the same treatment.
