Which would all be fine and dandy, if we were PAID MORE for superior work. We all make the same pay rate, so there is no incentive for quality, only SPEED. Working faster is the only way to advance. We can literally be the best quality MT for a company for YEARS and NEVER earn a pay raise. Never. That's unheard of in any other industry. It's ludicrous that we are lectured on quality. Better MTs should make a higher CPL rate than the crappy ones, and there are a lot of crappy ones out there, as anyone who has ever QA'd a report knows. CPL should at least range from 8-12 based on experience, quality, reliability and production.
