Less pay - It is all less pay

Whether you are an employee (which is rare) or an IC, the pay is low. I hated being an IC; by the time you figure the taxes, you can no longer write off a home office and everything else they ask of you, you are probably making 2-3 cpl, down from 4.5-4 cpl, which is robbery no matter how you slice it. If you transcribe or edit a 1000 lines a day (and that is if you have work), you make $40.00, divide that by 8 = $5.00 an hour. Wow, Paris here I come.

Face it, this job has flown the coop and the only ones making money are the MTSOs. I hope they all go under for treating dedicated, hardworking people the way they do and have for years.
