line rate - desperate in Texas

Anybody familiar with line pay on a 50 character line, with 1500 quota? Approximately how many hours a day does it take to reach that quota?  Laid off twice in four years from two different hospitals, both paying per hour--so, I'm completely clueless regarding line count/pay.  Thanks in advance for your help
