with notes from the reporter that should be what she captured, but most of the time it's just a bunch of garbage, so you end up typing all the crap without the benefit of the person that actually sat in the session. It's difficult to know who is speaking when the session can have more than two attorneys so CR notes help a great deal. I don't mind the typing, but when they are all talking at the same time and the CR doesn't bother to interrupt or at least try to get down who said what, it sucks.
