You are so right. We as MTs need to start putting our foot down and taking a stand against these companies who think they are above the law. So many MTs allow this sort of behavior to happen and don't report it, so of course it's going to keep happening. These MTSOs know they can get away with it. Well, if enough of us start holding them accountable by reporting them to the IRS when they want us to be ICs, but still want to force us to work specific schedules, maybe things will start to change. You can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results. It's well past time that we stand up for our rights and not allow these companies to continue taking blatant advantage of us. There are laws for a reason, to protect us.
