This is copied and pasted directly from the IRS website on IC regulations:
"By definition, independent contractors are able to dictate their own schedules. This means that employers cannot tell an independent contractor when to work unless they want to give the worker the benefits of a true employee."
So, in short, yes, MedRec Partners IS breaking the law by requiring IC MTs to work specific hours and days.
