We are not the ones keeping the hospitals up and running, that would be the patients who pay their bills and the providers who administer health care. Where I work, we have not had a transcription department in 10 years, all the work goes offsite and everything works well. We have a QA staff and I think that most of the MTSOs employ QA staff. As I told someone else, if you don't like the wages, quit and go elsewhere and stop beating a dead horse. It would take years to implement any change and by that time it is going to be a moot point.
