Everything you said is spot on. Far too many MTs have been burned by random, unheard of companies such as this. It's even more sketchy that this person refuses to share what they pay. There is a post further down on this page where an MT just got burned and wasn't paid for the work they did, so that is a perfect example of why we all need to be so careful when responding to these job ads and do extensive research on these companies. I just searched the archives for anything on this "Hoffman Transcription" company and couldn't find a single thing about them. I'm also so incredibly sick of these companies who expect absolute perfection for garbage pay. So, yes, either place this job ad on the CORRECT board WITH the pay rate and any other pertinent information about the job included or take it down and get out of here. None of us are interested!
