Exactly! - I do not understand

how all my other bills and junk mail arrive like normal, but no check. A friend mailed me something from Virginia on Saturday and it got here on Tuesday. Why would my check not be here by now...after 10 days? Is it possible they weren't mailed then? Why else would this many people still be missing their checks? Is the postal service just picking and choosing what they want to send and what they hold on to? I'm just so annoyed at this point!
