the way things turned out, timing wise. I quit my MT job with plans to begin a new job in healthcare that would have required working in a hospital with patients and was really looking forward to it. Thankfully, I hadn't yet gotten to the point of patient contact when Covid cases started pouring into the emergency room. It was very unsettling to imagine being exposed to a virus that no one knew anything about and that was proving to be especially deadly to the elderly. Having family members in the high risk group, I knew there was no other alternative for me but to find another less risky job. So that's what my job searches are like now, haha! The less risky, the better. Thanks for your reply!
