It's the industry that has declined - anon

and caused our beloved MT work to change in ways that we never thought possible. Though it's all barely recognizable today from how we remember it being, we've got to always know that we're still our beautiful, wonderfully talented selves! If we look at all the challenges we've taken on in our lives and come out victorious on the other end (especially you, my dear), then that is saying a lot about who we are and what we're made of. The downfall of MT can't take that away from us, ever.

I think a lot of us now who still choose to work in MT have taken on the attitude that we're making the job work for us now and not the other way around. These companies don't own us. We're still working hard at it, but doing it on our own terms.
